Middle Atlantic Slim-5 racks were specifically designed for someone with no experience with racks to be able to set it up quickly and affordably. Ideal for a home audio/video theater system installed into a wall cut-out or cabinet, or just in an open room like a basement. All you need to get started are the 10-32 rack screws and shelving. Heights range from 8U to 43U, with depths of 20 or 26 inches. Options available include plexiglas, vented or solid doors, steel or wooden side panels, casters, and various top panel configurations. 2-Post Relay Racks

2-post open frame relay racks are generally used for mounting telecom and light networking equipment that is not as deep as data servers. For components under 150 pounds use 10-32 rack screws, for heavier equipment use 12-24 style. Builds are available in aluminum or steel, and top load capacity measures 1600 lbs. If you do have a deep piece of equipment, use a centerline shelf to position the middle of the component in the center of the rack. We offer standard 19 inch wide models in RMU heights of 27U to 45U.
